Rick Hemry is a second generation appraiser having been instructed and deeply influenced by his father, who taught him that ethics and character is of utmost importance in the appraisal industry. Mr. Hemry is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a BS in Business Administration, Department of Finance with a major field of study in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics. Prior to entering the appraisal profession, he sold real estate while earning his GRI designation. He was also employed by a small Savings & Loan in his hometown as an appraiser prior to relocating to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex in 1982. After moving to Dallas, he performed both residential and commercial appraisals as a subcontractor. Once state licensing was instituted, he chose the residential side of the business because of his extensive experience with the housing industry.
